Legendary Multi Time Pro Stock Drag Racing Champion Larry Lombardo was present with all his Wally’s and racing memorabilia. Larry is featured signing the exact cars he once drove for Bill Jenkins, the legendary Mountain Motor Match Race Monza and the 1980 Pro Stock Camaro. Bill’s daughter, Susan Jenkins was also present along with Mike and Charlie from the Jenkins Competition Team. Also present was Walter Frey, long time announcer and organizer for Raceway Park in Englishtown New Jersey and track photographer and organizer John McCartney. The lovely Linda Vaughn was also there signing autographs and taking photos with all the attendees. A great time was had by all and we commend Darwin Doll for keeping Bill’s memory alive and putting on a great event at a spectacular facility! Upon completion of the event the 1980 Grumpy’s Toy XV Pro Stock Camaro was left at the museum and displayed next to one of the original Jungle Jim Funny Cars for all visitors to enjoy. The Camaro will be left there for the remainder of the 2016 season and will be swapped out for the Grumpy’s Toy XIV Mountain Motor Match Race Monza for the 2017 season.
